Amazing imagery and wonderful imagery that remind us of the importance of winter and honoring this quiet time of darkness. I love the phrase "fertile darkness" and when you say "Soon snow will blanket the earth; a comforter for the land as she rests." -- so much here in how you say this that say a lot about this important time in a beautiful way.
I can definitely relate to my years spent in cities feeling overstimulated by light and noise. Now that I live out in the country I find myself embracing this dark time of year and finding ways to bring my own light to it all. Bright solstice to you 🕯️
Mhmmm, sigh. So funny how in a time that is meant to feel slow and quiet and reflective it can feel so loud with all things holiday. Found myself feeling slightly overwhelmed by it all and needing to step back, return to that quiet darkness and just melt back into the earth. Those are my holy days. Thank you for this reminder to take that space again.
“Winter is not the death of the life cycle, but its crucible.” ♥️🔥🙏🏻

Yes, I had the same trajectory, too. I'm out in rural New England now. My body is grateful. Wish you a restorative solstice. 🌲☀️
I will definitely do something like this tomorrow. Thank you. 🙏🏽
Rituals in solidarity... Love you, sis. ❤️ Wish you a peaceful, restorative solstice. 🌲☀️
