I so needed to read this. Thank you. I look forward to learning more about your new book!
In my work I have committed myself to inviting humans back into the fold of Nature and the truth of interring - it is so easy to discuss this with likeminded beings, but gosh it almost feels impossible to crack the hard shell of human separation that has been established through generations upon generations. I'm really not sure I'm getting anywhere. I am evermore grateful for voices and thought leaders like you.
Thank you, Kay. I appreciate your comment. It is reassuring to know when my words, thoughts and feelings resonate. Especially since (as you mentioned) it can feel like we're screaming into the wind sometimes. But we have to keep at it to continue chipping away at that shell... until it cracks. Your work sounds beautiful and so important. Mother Earth needs all of our voices right now.
This is so insightful and inspiring in that you are speaking about a subject of therapy within the culture we live in. Nature is the greatest friend, the always there teacher and I honor the way you have expressed a whole mindset approach to viewing ourselves in our world. Beautifully crafted.
Thank you, Morgan. This means a lot. Nature is absolutely the greatest friend, and I am a devoted student of the natural world. It feels good to know this resonated with you. 💚
I love that rewilding and helping wildlife has been your tonic. I've had a similar experience. Working with and on behalf of Earth and other animals is what has helped me process that grief most, while moving that energy into meaningful action. It has also helped me attune to the wonder and beauty of the natural world and all that is still here to celebrate and save.
Beautiful & spot on Vanessa- thank you for this.💗
You're welcome, Camilla. I means a lot to know this resonated with you. 💚
Lovely post! I am so excited to hear you’re working on a new book!! Are you able to share what it’s about or is it too new? 😊
Thank you, Amanda! I can give you a hint: it has a lot to do with the Psyche article I posted here, but in my style of hyrid memoir.
Love love love this message! I heard a similar message from a Zach Bush interview yesterday, but I love the way you put this into words. Thank you!
Thank you, Emily! I'm curious about that interview... maybe something I should listen to? It feels good to know my words resonated. 💚

Tough times for Earthlings.
Flora, fauna, including us.
Howl, hug, heave, heed, hope?
Beautiful. Yes to howling, hugging, heaving and heeding. Hope too, as long as it comes with loving action. 💚
